Abigail Leigh Spencer, born on August 4, 1981, in the US, is an American actor. She is most famous for her performances in the films Cowboys and Aliens, The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You and her appearances in the TV seriesAngela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. The actress is currently starring as Amantha Holden on the Sundance Channel drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actor and director of films with a television show. A native of Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut on the role in the soap opera All My Children. For her work she received the Soap Opera Digest Award as Outstanding Female newcomer. The following years she mostly played guest parts on various TV shows. Her character as the Dr. Erin Jameson on the Television series Hawthorne received her praise. With the aid of her gorgeous looks and incredible performance skills, she could attract a large following. In the movie Campfire Stones, she played an important role in it when she was just 20 years old. Jekyll This Means War as in Chasing Mavericks were other films where she was featured. The role she played in Beautiful Now earned her a nomination for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. Her most recent appearance on television is the lead part of a history professor Lucy Preston in the sci-fi TV show Timeless. Spencer was praised from critics about her performance in the sci-fi TV show Timeless. She was also nominated for the Teen Choice Award.
